It’s one of the key approaches for iron and steel corporations to efficiently recover the waste heat resources which are used to preheat sinter mixture in order to reduce energy consumption in the sintering process before the ignition device. Centered on the thermal performance of the sinter mixture in the drying process, mechanistic experiments such as differential thermal gravimetric analysis,forced air drying and the tunnel flashing drying, which are based on different focus, are carried out, including a series of experiments of level 10mg, level 10g, and level 100g respectively. The experimental results show that sinter mixture is a typical “three-period” drying materials, that is, the entire drying process consists of shorter rising rate period,longer constant rate period and falling rate period. At the beginning, the drying rate is faster, and then slower. Greater drying rate and the corresponding drying time is in the first 5-7 minutes when the moisture content of sinter mixture is 0.055~0.06kg (water)/kg (material) based on the experimental conditions. In the experiment of tunnel flashing drying, critical moisture content of sinter mixture is about 2.3~3.0%. The temperature and flow rate of hot air are the main factors affect the drying rate, within a certain range, the higher the air temperature the greater the flow as well as the drying rate, the effect of strengthening drying is more obvious. Both hot air temperature and flow should have an appropriate scope dues to the discrepancies exist in the effect of strengthening drying by improving the temperature and flow in different interval. Therefore, sinter mixture is easy to dry, and the existing low temperature waste heat is able to achieve sinter mixture’ drying. 求助 摘要修改~!謝謝 |

Efficient recovery and utilization of waste heat in sintering process is a great challenge for iron and steel enterprises in China. In this paper a series of experiments of sinter mixture in drying process were developed, and the sinter mixture was divided into three orders of magnitude in weight, 10mg, 10g, and 100g, respectively. Efficient recovery and utilization of waste heat in sintering process is very crucial to iron and steel industry (enterprises) in China. The temperature of hot air and the flow rate are the main factors affecting the drying process. within a certain range, the influence of hot air temperature is bigger than the flow rate in the drying process obviously .the higher the hot air temperature is , the larger (greater) the flow rate, which leads to a bigger drying rate and shorten the drying time .The study's results can provide fundamental data for a promising reasonable utilization of waste heat in sintering process. |
