【求助】多項催化手冊上關(guān)于負載型金屬催化劑的一段話不太理解 已有6人參與

Depending upon the nature of the active component, two different types of supported catalyst may be distinguished. When the active component is very expensive (as with precious metals), the objective is a maximum active surface area per unit weight of the active component. With less costly active components, such as base metals or base metal oxides or sulfides, a maximum active surface area per unit volume is most attractive. The reason for this is that a high active surface area causes a relatively small catalytic reactor volume to be sufficient to achieve a technically satisfactory conversion. When the costs of the reactor dominate, a high loading of the support maximizing the active surface area per unit volume will therefore be most favorable. When, on the other hand, the costs of the active component are most important, the maximum active surface area per unit weight of active component is desired. Expensive active components, therefore, will be applied to supports at low loadings, leading to small or very small supported active particles and thus providing a high active surface area per unit weight of active component. 想問單位體積和單位重量的最大活性比表面積,體積和重量指的是催化劑的活性組分和載體之和嗎?然后它關(guān)于會有這兩種不同要求的解釋我好像不是很看得懂誒。求各位指點呀~ [ Last edited by fd_wonder on 2011-1-4 at 16:14 ] |

這段話可以從兩個方面來理解: 1. 反應器的成本若占總成本比較高時,此時就要從催化劑的設(shè)計上來考慮。比方說,可以有不參與反應的bulk催化劑,但是反應的空速與轉(zhuǎn)化率必須要保證,我簡單的理解成是,至少是大于單層負載的負載量。若催化劑在其表面有聚集,也充分利用bulk 催化劑本身帶來的surface area 與pore。 2. 若催化劑的成本占總成本高時,此時就要從催化劑的設(shè)計上考慮,其意圖無非是想讓所有的催化劑都能參與反應,未必做到單層負載的水平,不參與反應的bulk催化劑應該盡量避免,降低催化劑成本。 我這樣的理解,不知道是否正確,希望有所幫助。 |
