[交流] 幫忙看一下編輯是什么意思（Materials Research Bulletin）

We will consider publishing your paper entitled "xxx" after English Language Revisions based on the below review.

If you decide to submit a revised manuscript, be sure to prepare a "Response to Reviewers" (cover letter) describing in detail, point by point, how you have addressed the reviewers' comments and indicate the page number where the changes are located. You will be asked to upload this file along with the revised manuscript. It would be appreciated if you could submit your revised paper by Jun 24, 2011.

Review your work carefully as no copy editing will be performed. Your paper will be returned to you if further revisions are necessary.

If you decide to submit a revised manuscript:
Please BOLDFACE all the changes on one (1) copy of the revised manuscript, on the second (2) copy DO NOT boldface the changes. [DO NOT COLORIZE YOUR CORRECTIONS. WE DO NOT HAVE A COLOR PRINTER.] and please remember to submit copies of each figure.

On your Main Menu page is a folder entitled "Submissions Needing Revision". You will find your submission record there.

When submitting your revised manuscript, please ensure that you upload the source files (e.g. Word). Uploading a PDF file at this stage will create delays should your manuscript be finally accepted for publication. If your revised submission does not include the source files, we will contact you to request them.

In its current state, the level of English throughout your manuscript does not meet the journal's required standard. There are a number of grammatical errors and instances of badly worded or constructed sentences. Please have your manuscript checked by an expert in written, scientific English and refine the language carefully. Authors have the responsibility to present their papers in good English which can be understood by the journal's readership without difficulty.

一份修改部分不涂黑的稿件（修改后的原始稿件），一份修改部分需要涂黑的稿件；兩個稿件都要上傳

針對修改給reviewer一個回答，也就是你修改的地方用不同顏色的字體標(biāo)出即可。

不好意思，我仔細(xì)看了下，編輯貌似不讓你標(biāo)不同顏色在文章中。但是你要把改動的地方標(biāo)注在response to reviewer里面，作為對審稿人的回答，其他內(nèi)容都是變價告訴你怎么上傳文章的，自己看看，一條一條來就行了。

這些話都是格式話，就是主編都有一個模板，什么稿件用什么模板，你這個就是小修而已，語言有問題，英語不地道，找個人給你仔細(xì)改改就投了。沒有reviewer的意見，不需要寫response。

單從這封信來看是沒有被審稿而是主編對稿件的意見。
如果LZ沒有時刻跟蹤稿件的狀態(tài)而不知道是否經(jīng)過under review這個步驟，那只能從投稿時間到收到回信的時間來判斷是否審稿了。
我的個人意見是LZ的文章英語問題比較大，主編認(rèn)為不適合送審，先修改英語，通順了之后再送審。
建議：附一個response letter，內(nèi)容：we have revised the paper carefully and also ask some collegue who are skilled in writing technical papers to correct the grammar and spelling errors. we belive that the revision now is more suitable to read.
