謝謝您的回復!在文獻中,作者是想通過這個勢能面來計算氫原子在碳納米管表面的遷移勢壘。對于這個勢能面的做法,他是這樣描述的: The determination of the hydrogen migration barrier on CNT was, however, quite a non-trivial task, because the standard techniques of migration barrier determination did not work well due to the inconvenient geometry of the problem.It turned out methodologically easier to scan the potential surface of hydrogen atom.For this purpose a surface location of the probe hydrogen atom has been fixed and only H distance from the nanotube surface could relax.
