[FESE] Call for papers: Advanced Materials 已有1人參與

Call for Papers: Advanced Materials: Adsorbent and Catalyst for Environmental Application Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering (FESE) is soliciting submissions for a Special Issue on “Advanced Materials: Adsorbent and Catalyst for Environmental Applications”. In order to prevent, reduce and remediate the various environmental problems, there is an urgent need to develop innovative and efficient materials to remove and decompose pollutants from air or water, and efficient adsorbents and catalysts are playing an important role. Authors are invited to submit original and previously unpublished research and review papers about advanced adsorbents and catalysts. These papers should place greater emphasis on the environmental applications. 1) Preparation and application of adsorbents • Critical review • Novel adsorbents for the removal of heavy metals from wastewater • Novel adsorbents for arsenic and fluoride removal from drinking water • Adsorption of CO2 on novel adsorbents • Adsorption of contaminants in exhaust gas (VOCs, SOx, NOx, mercury, dioxin, etc.) • Nanoadsorbents for the removal of emerging and recalcitrant contaminants • Adsorption of micropollutants from water and wastewater 2) Synthesis and application of environmental catalysts • Critical review • Automotive pollution control: DeNOx (SCR, NOx traps), particulate emission control, DOC, TWC, etc. • Stationary air pollution treatment: catalytic removal of VOC, NOx, PAHs, mercury, dioxin, particulates from flue gas of power plant and industry furnace • Indoor air quality improvement: catalytic processes including photo-, plasma- and electro-catalysis for indoor air quality • Catalysis for water treatment: catalytic elimination of inorganic and organic pollutants in water and wastewater, catalytic hydrodehalogenation, liquid waste valorisation • Catalysis for clean energy and green chemistry Note: This Special Issue is being promoted by the State Key Joint Laboratory of Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control, China. Manuscripts will be reviewed with the same procedure as for other submissions to FESE. (a) A RESEARCH PAPER is a contribution describing original study, including synthesis, characterization and specific applications in environment. (b) REVIEW PAPERS: Only critical review papers of important fields will be considered. Please submit your manuscripts through the FESE online submission system at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/fese and select the “Special Issue” as the “Manuscript Type”.
