Abstract In this paper, the UV-vis spectrum and fluorescence spectrum of Curcumin in different organic solvents was determined, the study about the influences of acidity of solution as well as different types and dosages of buffer solution on the fluorescence properties of Curcumin was carried out, and a convenient and rapid method that determines Curcumin with Fluorimetry was put forward. The experimental results show that the acidity of solvent and solution will influence the fluorescence properties of Curcumin. |
