The supervisory department of food and drug.(Hong Kong) Introduction The supervision of food and drug is carried out according to Pharmaceutical affairs of Department of Health in Hong Kong.According to the latest data ,it has shown that the current 70% of "health food" contains Chinese medicines,such as the well-known vitamins and so on.Vitamins are considered drugs or traditional Chinese medicine products,they must be strictly registered according to the regulations of drugs.Such as security,quality and effectiveness,ingredients,dosage and usage and so on, reference site is web site of the Department of Health's Office of Drug::https://www.drugoffice.gov.hk/eps/do/tc/ pharmaceutical_trade/other_useful_ information/drug_regulatory_system.html Meanwhile relevant supervision departments will checke the food samples regularly to control and guarantee the quality of food.Microbiological and chemical testing wii be done to assess the the risk of food.If some problems are found ,the food will be fully recovered.
