求助關于randomized complete block design 已有1人參與

最近投了一篇meat science,編輯說數(shù)據(jù)分析有問題,找了一些相關文章看看,大都用randomized complete block design,但不太明白,有熟悉的童靴么,幫看看。 編輯的意見如下:There are a number of issues with this paper, but the most important is what appears to be the lack of consideration of the replicates in the analysis. It is implied line 163 that 3 independent batches of patties were prepared which is good. However replicate needs to be included as a random term in the model and the way the text reads it appears it data may have been averaged over the replicates within treatments which is incorrect. It is suggested the analysis be rethought. 為什么求重復的平均值不對呢,不都是均值±SD么。編輯還有一個意見是用SE代替SD. |

投稿的時候是這么寫的:For standard calibration, three independent experiments were performed. The averages for the beef patties were calculated in duplicate for each HA. The comparison of the mean values was conducted by univariate t-test. 后面還有兩個問題:It is not obvious how many samples per treatment were used, but is assumed from Table 2 that it was 2? This needs to be clearly stated earlier in the paper;Means should be given with s.e's not s.d's. |

你要明白SD和SE的差別。 標準差(SD)強調raw data的Variation,而標準誤(SE)強調平均數(shù)的可信程度。 既然你用的是平均值,那就應該使用SE,而不是SD。 真正的實驗數(shù)據(jù)處理是,你做了三個或者兩次重復實驗,然后分別計算出來這些數(shù)據(jù),然后再把這些數(shù)據(jù)做統(tǒng)計分析,就是所謂的SD。 如果你把所有相同處理的樣品放在一起,然后在測量兩次或者以上,在去計算平均數(shù),那么統(tǒng)計分析就是SE。 看你的表述應該是第二種意思。 |
