As an example of the kinds of projects the program wants to encourage, USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah cited a cheap bucket filter designed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge to remove arsenic from groundwater in Bangladesh. 謝謝OK兄的建議！ 關(guān)于1：我同意。還是要尊重原文，不能隨中文習(xí)慣亂來； 關(guān)于2：對，原文是“鼓勵(lì)”的意思，我把它換成了“學(xué)習(xí)”。我當(dāng)時(shí)翻譯的時(shí)候，想到鼓勵(lì)了，只是覺得“鼓勵(lì)的榜樣”聽起來挺別扭的。其實(shí)鼓勵(lì)和學(xué)習(xí)作為謂語動(dòng)詞，接的賓語是不一樣的。榜樣好像只能學(xué)習(xí)，不能拿來鼓勵(lì)，呵呵。有時(shí)候覺得自己還是中文水平差，想不到一個(gè)言簡意賅的說法既把“榜樣”說了，又能出來“鼓勵(lì)其他項(xiàng)目組”的意思； 關(guān)于3：似乎就是說獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)本身新穎，the concept of the awards is very innovative，或許是我理解錯(cuò)了。。。 |
